WOLVERHAMPTON MUNICIPAL GRAMMAR SCHOOL
OLD PUPILS ASSOCIATION
The Old Pupils Association was officially formed on Sunday 14 June 1992, when a group of former pupils met in the school hall and unanimously agreed to set up an Association. This meeting arose out of the second annual reunion of old pupils, which had been initiated by Lionel Wernick originally for war time and pre-war pupils of the Secondary School, and opened membership to Grammar School pupils and staff.
The Association’s objectives are to:
- Perpetuate the memory of the former Wolverhampton Municipal Secondary/Grammar School ("the School").
- Foster and renew friendships among former pupils of the School.
- Facilitate the social activities of members of the Association.
- Facilitate endowment of scholarships/funds and other academic activities.
We are always delighted to welcome new members. If you were a pupil at the school, why not join us?
There are two types of membership,
Ordinary – open to all former pupils of the School.
– and
Associate membership, which is open to those not eligible to be an Ordinary member but who have close links with the School.
The annual cost is £10.00 for an individual and £15.00 for a couple, both of whom are former pupils.
